Scan gets a $1.7m investment

Been reading a lot in the press over the last few days that http://www.scan.me/ have received $1.7m seed round.

Someone want to tell CRV etc that they did their dough and that the real future of QR codes are in direct QR codes rather than the indirect codes that Scan are using.
Indirect codes dont allow you to change QR management application vendors after they are published.

ie. imagine building a website then being told if you ever moved from GoDaddy as a registrar you had to build a new website.

Indirect = fail.
