Ever opened a door without a doorknob? how would you recognize its a door and not a wall?
Image recognition is not new, the issues are these;
1/ Identification is still required so there must be some kind of “object to say hey….i’m a door”
2/ Image recognition by default is a single server first point of lookup ….and has all the issues related with this.
3/ Single vendor is the biggest issue – its real simple…single vendor sucks. Unless there is some way to enable a image recognition app to work with multiple back end databases….this is dead on arrival.
